Steven’s sister Nancy, and her two close friends, Rob and Jamie, all from San Diego, joined in Pamplona, to walk for 6 days with us. Today was our first day of walking, covering 15 miles and 1500 feet in elevation gain. Terese and Andrew from Brisbane Australia, joined us for dinner and lively conversation. Terese and Andrew are keeping a very similar schedule to ours, and if all goes as planned, will end up in Santiago a day after we do on October 25.
Stats
Day 1 – Saint Jean Pied De Port to Orisson. 4.6 miles & 1814 feet in elevation
Day 2 – Orisson to Roncesvalles. 12.1 miles & 2485 elevation

Karen, What an adventure so far. You walk a lot through beautiful and changing scenery and then eat and drink in unique and yummy restaurants. It just doesn’t get any better! I noticed your shorter hair cut. Looks really cute.
