Day 10 – Redondela, where the Portuguese coastal and central Camino’s merge

Photo: Galician prepared octopus (a little weird 🤷‍♀️)

Redondela was busy! Since the Portuguese Camino routes all merge here, the walking vibe is suddenly and noticeably quite different. Also, to receive a Camino certificate of completion, a Compostela, in Santiago, one needs to walk the last 100 kilometers of a Camino walk. And 100 k’s is shortly before Redondela.

Yippee! No blisters! I wear these toe socks with a thin wool sock over them and my wide toe bed Alta shoes and no blisters in 10 days!

Walking through Vigo was intense and confusing and I was grateful that it was a quiet Sunday morning when I attempted it. The high up views were great!
